Doing a little clean-up and I don´t know how to move comments from one post to another on my own blog, so until I grow a brain I am just going to do a cut and paste of all the past comments:

Senor Frog, sounds like you’re still zooming around at NYC hyperdrive speed! with a new place a day, at first i figured that was a list of bars, but Wikipedia shows not - am soooo envious, you must be having a blast. Taquile Island sounds fascinating - love the collective attitude, solar panels and motto “ama sua, ama llulla, ama qhella.” but sometimes a little qhella is good for the soul. great posts, keep ‘em coming! can’t wait to visit you -

    Yo Jay,
This life sounds better. Brian passed the computer to me because he wishes that instead of being holed up with me in the slush he was drinking Piscos checking out the lovely ladies from Lima with you. My best friend and I took a similar route in 2002, except we crossed to Copacabana after Puno. I’ve got a whole bunch of friends up in Aguas Caliente, Cusco, and Huanchaco, North of Trujillo. If you head down to Southern Chile, you have to hit up Pucon.
Keep on the DL with the Matte de Coca and don’t fuck with Pache Mama!

K - you inspire me! I knew you were plotting your escape. Where’s the pics? I swear to God I might visit you if you decide to stay down there. That’s not a threat, it’s a promise. Flora is encouraging me to meet up with you. She says she’ll give me a ride to the airport right now (It’s been a long winter.) Good luck, stay safe and have fun.
